Trey Brunson is a fifth-generation preacher. He grew up in Texas, spending as much of his childhood as possible playing in the woods, hunting, and fishing. He’s been leading Bible studies and teaching the Word in one way or another for many years. In high school, the faculty selected him to be a counselor on school-sponsored wilderness trips for middle school students. He also spent a summer during college as a counselor at Kanakuk Kamps in Branson, Missouri. Before moving to Durango, Colorado, Trey taught middle school Social Studies, Science, Language Arts, and high school art in Texas at an alternative campus for at-risk students, the majority of whom were gang members or violent offenders. Trey moved to Durango in 2008, and has been playing in the mountains ever since. He loves traditional bowhunting, fly fishing, playing his drums, working out, and reading and writing. Trey is most passionate about sharing and teaching the Word about Christ’s saving grace.
