Rebekah was born in Greeley, Colorado but moved to Durango shortly there after. She was brought up in a Christian household with parents that constantly told her to pursue the Lord above all else. Up until about two years ago you would have never seen her outside. She hated insects, camp food, and couldn’t bare the idea of not taking showers! But the Lord has slowly been shaping her in to the woman He wants her to be. She went on her first True Elevation ABC trip the summer of 2014. Now, she wants nothing more than to be outside with her heavenly Father. She loves to mountain bike, fly fish, and paint landscapes in her free time. Over the past couple of years she has also worked with orphans in Romania through First Baptist Church. Right now, she is pursuing her B.A. in Acting at the University of Northern Colorado. Performing arts is a huge part of her life, so singing musicals on trail is not uncommon for her. On another note, she is a strong Bigfoot believer and she might make everyone do a Sasquatch call … just in case they’re listening. Rebekah believes the Lords creation is a gift and a sign of God’s grace to us and it reminds us how small we are and it keeps us humble. Matthew 6:30 “And if God cares so wonderfully for the wildflowers that are here to day and thrown in to the fire tomorrow, won’t he certainly care for you? Why do you have such little faith."
